IT FIRM KASPERSKY LAUNCHES NEW ANTIVIRUS PRODUCTS IN BANGLADESH.

DHAKA, June 24 Asia Pulse - IT firm Kaspersky Lab has introduced its latest 2012 editions of antivirus and internet security software in the Bangladesh market.

The launch is highly notable as this was the first official launch of the 2012 editions in the Asia-Pacific region for Kaspersky Lab. It is also the first time that a globally reputed software company makes its new version regional debut launch in Bangladesh.

The launch ceremony was organized by a large number of Channel Partner IT companies of the country at the Bangabandhu International Convention Centre on June 21.

Altaf Halde, managing director, South Asia and Jagannath Patnaik, director-South Asia, were present as Kaspersky Lab representative to the event.

The event was marked by awards to top channel partners and introduction of corporate sub-distributor in Bhutan & Musa Ibrahim- the first Bangladeshi conquering the Mount Everest, as the profile representative for Kaspersky Lab in Bangladesh.

Halde emphasized on Kaspersky Labs continuous support to Bangladesh in moving forward to a safe digital Bangladesh while Patnaik focused on the development of channel business systems in the local market.

Kaspersky believes in a very strong and transparent local channel business module, Prabeer Sarkar, CEO, office tracts-the exclusive distributor of Kaspersky Lab in Bangladesh & Bhutan said.

He also pointed out to a better, stronger and faster new product line.

The new Kaspersky 2012 version incorporates the cloud computing technology that makes the product line much more effective and fast.
